CLIQ partners are hosting events in their cities and regions to engage local stakeholders in the project activities and to encourage debate on innovation. An important part of the CLIQ project is to share the results of exchange of experience and to influence innovation policy both within and outside the partner cities and regions.
CLIQ has developed a Policy Action Plan to ensure that the project achieves its ambitions in terms of policy influence. The CLIQ Policy Action Plan is designed to help the project partners to influence policies in the field of innovation by
• maximising the learning from CLIQ to improve economic policy at local and regional level;
• identifying opportunities to impact on innovation policy at local, regional, national and European level; and
• providing practical guidance to local authorities for developing innovation policies at local level.
The Policy Action Plan was produced by the University of Girona, Spain, in June 2011.
