
CLIQ is unique amongst European network projects in its focus on the Quadruple Helix model. Civil society will be considered as a fourth and full stakeholder in the Triple Helix - in addition to knowledge institutions, enterprises and government.
CLIQ aims to demonstrate the key role of citizens in open, user-driven and inclusive innovation. In an academic study, CLIQ will explore models for engaging civil society in a 21st century economy.

comissioned the stydy "Exploring the Quadruple Helix.

CLIQ Interregional Research explores and documents main interests and priorities of member towns, cities and regions in relation to innovation strategy and activity and exhaustively surveys CLIQ partners about their expectations and objectives of participation in the project.
The research provides the means of documenting existing good practice of each project member so as to be able to provide an inventory of good practice and learning needs in the final
report.
