Policy work

An important part of the CLIQ project is to share results of the exchange and to influence innovation policy
both within and outside partner cities and regions.
CLIQ partners will host events in their cities and regions to engage local stakeholders in project activities and to encourage debate about innovation.

CLIQ will development also a Policy Action Plan to ensure that the project achieves its ambitions in terms of policy influence.
CLIQ policy action Plan is to help the project to influence policies in the field of Innovation.

It will
• maximise the learning from CLIQ to improve economic policy at local and regional level.
• identify and use opportunities to impact on innovation policy at local, regional, national and European level.
• provide a practical guide to local authorities for developing innovation policies at local level.

The Policy Action Plan process provides thorough recommendations for the exploitation of CLIQ on a policy, practice and research level, therefore ensuring the maximum impact possible. It creates also the core for the Blueprint for innovation, which is one of the products of the CLIQ project.

The University of Girona has been contracted for the Policy Action Plan on June 2010.

At the end of the CLIQ project there will be a Final Dissemination event to present the project's findings, including the Blue-print for Innovation.
