CLIQ Exchange activities

At the heart of CLIQ is an intensive programme of interregional exchange. The CLIQ project aims to improve innovation policy and practice in participating regions by sharing good practice and experience.  CLIQ partners will participate in Study Visits, Round Tables and Masterclasses to showcase good practice and promote discussion on the themes identified as common priorities such as:

- Business support to promote innovation
- Product development processes
- Innovation collaboration
- Knowledge transfer
- Entrepreneurship
- Internationalisation
- Innovation partnerships
- Civil society engagement
- Research and development
- Supply chains
- Process innovation
- Service innovation
- Innovations- open, social, user driven

Study Visits

Participants from a number of partner organisations will visit another partner city or region to examine and discuss a particular good practice. A programme will be designed to allow the study visitors to see work in action, to talk to professionals, peers and users of the intervention. There will also be time for the group to discuss their reactions to the practice(s) and reflect together on its critical success factors and the implications for their own work. Participants will then be encouraged to document and share their learning in their own local and regional networks.

Round Tables

Participants from a number of partner organisations will come together to discuss a particular innovation related issue, problem or good practice. There will be facilitated, in depth discussion around one specific topic, where professionals and peers will examine theory and practice and share recommendations.

Masterclasses

Experts form a number of cities give a series of mini presentations on how they deliver a particular service related to innovation to assist other partners develop similar approaches where relevant to their own local or regional context.
