CLIQ experts will gather in Eskilstuna, Sweden for the 3rd Full Network Meeting in 13th of September 2010 to discuss on Quadruple Helix on Local Level. Also the autumn's first Study Visit called "Being innovative -who why what and how" will be held in Eskilstuna.

Sara Monteiro from The Beira Atlantic Park Incubator Association has been one of the writers in an international working paper: A Growth Model for the Quadruple Helix Innovation Theory. "We have a first version of the model and we are testing it with the statistics from the countries involved in the CLIQ project”, explains Sara.

CLIQ network provides different cannels to exchange and explore practices in promoting innovation and innovation policy. A CLIQ case study of conversion of an abandoned industrial area in a business park shows how the change has an impressive impact on the economy and the welfare of the region. It has also had an impact on the level of cooperation between the various stakeholders.

The Quadruple Helix, argues the report, represents a shift towards systemic, open and user-centric innovation policy. The report was commissioned by the City of Jyväskylä in Finland, as part of the CLIQ, and undertaken by the Work Research Centre at the University of Tampere.
